a few nights ago the mister and i decided to take our beauties on an impromptu family date to california adventure. neither of us had ever visited the park before so this particular date night was extra special for all of us. we walked around for an hour or so exploring the park, ate churros and rode the ladybug boogie {california adventure's version of the tea cup ride}. our night ended with the spectacular world of color show where i, true to form, started crying like a big fat baby. although unplanned, it ended up being a truly magical evening where we were reminded of how wonderful life can be when you leave a little room for spontaneity.
