i am always so inspired by women who have the audacity to pursue their passions while simultaneously pursuing motherhood. these are the women who laugh in the face of the misconceived notion that
as a mother you must choose between, "your career/self" or "your children".
filled with beauty, style and glimpses into the lives of several of these audacious {and may i add insanely fashionable} working mothers, the glow is a virtual feast for the eyes.
i have devoured the site several times over and am smitten with each of the ladies and their sense of family and accomplishment. although important {and obvious with the lovely mamas profiled} the sense of accomplishment that i refer to is not solely based on finances...it is more about finding one's calling {which is directly correlated with one's passions} and living in that calling. whether it be as a writer, a designer, a businesswoman, a baker, a painter, an owner of a home based business, a member of a nonprofit organization, a blogger...or whatever it is...i believe that we mamas are capable of so much more than what we give ourselves credit for. and although unimaginably fulfilling, we deserve so much more than just being labeled as "someone's mommy".
