no matter the occasion, there is nothing quite like receiving a handmade card. it's a nostalgic and thoughtful gesture that has unfortunately been replaced with text messages & facebook shout outs. happy birthdays, congratulations, and pretty much every other message that would have otherwise been written in a card are now sent via some type of technological device.
as much as i love receiving handmade cards...i love giving them. i don't do it nearly as much as i would like to, but once in a while a special birthday...for a special friend... just begs for a special card.
