anyone who knows my husband will tell you he has an affinity for books. if it were up to him, our beauties would be showered with books every christmas and every birthday. it's actually turned into a running joke amongst our family and friends that he doesn't allow the girls to play with any regular toys and the only thing they do all day is read. ha! how easy my life would be if that were case...
anyway, this past christmas we really wanted to give our beauties a few gifts that would be fun yet beneficial to them...i mean really, how many barbies and dolls does a little girl really need? we decided they would get three gifts each; these scooters to keep them active & healthy, art supplies to encourage creativity, and a few wooden kitchen accessories for imaginative play. the mister then came up with the idea of "gifting" them library cards. since i am all about creating experiences for our beauties, rather than picking up the library cards myself and wrapping them, i decided we would head to the library as a family a few days after christmas for them to "redeem" their gift...they LOVED every minute of it and so did papa!
