easter is my favorite holiday. the meaning behind it, the jellybeans, the weather, the fashions, the flowers-i can go on & on...
this past week i was inspired by the easter mascot-the bunny rabbit, and decided to create a few crafts in honor of the furry little guy.
a dollar tree figurine {that i spray painted white} glued onto a mason jar filled with bunny marshmallows makes a perfect gift for just about anything. add one to an easter basket, present one as a hostess gift at an easter party, or use it as a place setting on an easter dinner table.
i wrapped one with a tulle bow and handwrote "somebunny loves you" on one as a hostess gift. i also used some as part of the tablescape for a "spring fling" i hosted with the amazing angela of oh,sugar!, but you will hear more about that in another post.
these paper bags were a simple creation based on this pin i found on pinterest. my big beauty's kindergarten class decided to throw a last minute class party and i was asked to help out with goodie bags for the kids. since i was NOT in the mood to glue 48 little eyes and whiskers onto the bunny bags, i kept it simple and just glued cotton ball tails. i filled each bag with annie's bunny crackers and voila! they were a huge hit!

on another note, i have so much to share from these past few weeks and i am so ready to get back to blogging on a regular basis. our home is slowly, but surely coming along and my head is BURSTING with ideas and plans and exciting projects. now all i have to do is find out how to add more hours to my day. if any of you know how, you need to help a mama out!
