i am not a writer and i don't pretend to be. i do like to write though. i especially like to write about my beauties and the fleeting moments i have with them. those precious moments that give me goosebumps and make my heart skip a beat - moments i will never live again. this is why i write...

i am not a photographer and i don't pretend to be. i don't shoot in manual mode, i don't know how to use photo shop, and i don't own a fancy lens. i do, however, have a special love of pictures. i love looking at them and i love taking them. i love the power of pictures - the power they have of resurrecting a moment lost in time and of evoking emotions hidden deep within the heart. this is why i take pictures...

i am not a perfect mama and i don't pretend to be. i'm just a mama who loves her babies and hopes she is getting a few things right. i love the journey that is motherhood, even those days when i want to rip out my hair. i love that my children inspire me to be better, to push harder, to create a legacy, to be someone they can be proud of. i love seeing the world through their eyes, experiencing the simple moments in life with them - holding their hand and teaching them along the way. i love connecting with and reading the stories of other mamas who are also on this beautiful journey - they share their stories and i share my mine...

i am not the most fashionable person and i don't pretend to be. i do, however, love fashion. i love it all - from the fancy stuff on the pages of vogue to the laid back stuff on the racks at target. i love women's fashion and i especially LOVE children's fashion. i am blessed with the awesome privilege of having once designed and styled for a successful clothing line called right bank babies and was once co-owner of a children's boutique in hollywood - the experience i gained during my time in the industry has taught me more than i ever could have imagined. although i am currently on hiatus from working full time to focus on my little family, i desire nothing more than to continue in this chosen career path. for now it gives me great pleasure to share with others what i have learned, styling tips, and just cute stuff in general.

finally, i am not the most original or creative person and i don't pretend to be. i am, however, created to create. i believe that we are made in the image of God - the ultimate Creator - and the desire to make, build, design, and do are expressions of that reality. i am inspired by what others have created and i aspire to inspire others with the things i create. i share what i love and am always excited to connect with other mamas who desire to do the same.
