pumpkin patch fun.

to me, the holiday season goes into full gear once Halloween festivities begin.

i absolutely LOVE the changing weather, the smell of pumpkin candles, the pounds of candy corn (yes. i said POUNDS...that's because i literally eat pounds of the stuff), the hunting for costumes, pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks, and most of all the visits to the patch with my pumpkins.  

our first visit was the local patch near our new home...

the beauties loved petting the animals and picking their first pumpkins with their papa. samirah was very tempted to brave the slide but it was just waaaaaay to steep. next year baby girl!

the following week my beauties and i visited the Irvine Railroad Park while papa was at work...

i LOVE the Railroad Park because there is so much more to do there other than the patch. they have horseback riding, a lake for paddle boating, picnic areas, and food vendors. we didn't do any of that this year cuz mama here got to the patch at 4:25 and it closed at 5.

ummmm ya...i told you i'm not a planner.
